Description

Immortui is a 2D top-down puzzle game, combining classic shoot 'em up mechanics with an entirely new flavour of puzzles. As the only fit survivor of an unexpected zombie apocalypse, you must find your way around a large map, solving mysterious puzzles to save the other survivors while attempting to live through the remaining creatures from the apocalypse. The game comprises of one big map, containing the majority of the game's puzzles, and a further boss level, with a new concept introduced in almost every puzzle. There is a big focus on experimentation and working things out for yourself when completing the puzzles. Featuring a full soundtrack, complete with three extended tracks, for £1 / your regional equivalent extra.

History

Inspired by the Ludum Dare October 2012 Challenge, Samuel Silvester decided to develop a puzzle game which would become commercial, shortly after his 15th birthday. Work was slow and mainly done for a few hours on weekends. In May 2013, Samuel found an artist from the Ludum Dare community that was enthuastic and willing to create the sprites and textures for the game - Samuel "Blarget2" Eddy. Development for Immortui increased in pace as there now a clear deadline and goals were in sight. Later in the same month, Hog Pog searched popular internet communities to find a musician, and was approached by the super talented Jameson Bell from Epic Bear Concepts. The amazing music he produced forms a key part of Immortui.
